The pieces all come as a scene and are loosely mounted to the base. This Russian Santa Claus figure is hand carved from solid linden, also known as either basswood or lime. Once carved and sanded the Santa is hand painted and finished in extraordinary detail with numerous coats and then signed by the artist.
